E-CLARUS PROJECT
For a more efficient use of energy sources: proposals arriving by children
Today increase of both needs and costs in the energy supply asks to take actions to “education to the efficient use of renewable energy sources,” for energy use in public spaces and in enterprises and houses.
Hence the E-CLARUS project identifies
a) in elementary school children (i.e. in the citizens of tomorrow) the actors of a program to learn the potential of new systems for the efficient use of renewable energy sources;
b) in public administrators of municipalities, the promoters of meetings with their citizens of today and tomorrow, to disseminate information on the energy use and opportunities to innovate the existing ones.
In the E-CLARUS project, the actors will be the children of some elementary schools of the Province of Asti – typically, the final classes – in a competition to produce a comic book that illustrates how, in the municipality where they live, it is possible to achieve energy savings, particularly when used sparingly and with new ideas, the electric light both public and private.
The development of the project is based on the involvement of Municipal Administrators, and the Asti Department of Education, as patrons for the entire initiative, and of Banca Cassa di Risparmio di Asti, as support institution of the project.

PROGETTO E-CLARUS
Per un uso più efficiente delle fonti energetiche: proposte arrivate dai bambini
Oggi i continui aumenti di esigenze e costi nella fornitura di energie chiedono di intraprendere iniziative di “educazione all’impiego efficiente di fonti energetiche rinnovabili” per l’utilizzo di energia sia in servizi pubblici che nelle imprese e nelle abitazioni. Attuare una gestione efficiente dell’energia è obiettivo prioritario nell’Unione Europea e condizione per far ripartire uno sviluppo sostenibile.
Da qui nasce il progetto E-CLARUS, che individua
a) nei bambini delle elementari (cioè nei cittadini di domani) i destinatari di un programma di coinvolgimento al fine di conoscere i nuovi sistemi di uso delle fonti energetiche rinnovabili;
b) negli amministratori pubblici dei comuni, i promotori di incontri con i loro cittadini di oggi e di domani, per far conoscere come usare l’energia in modo più efficiente.
Nel progetto E-CLARUS, gli attori diventano quindi i bambini di alcune scuole elementari della Provincia Astigiana – tipicamente, le classi finali – in un concorso per produrre un fumetto che illustri come, nel comune in cui si vive, sia possibile ottenere risparmi energetici, in particolare usando con parsimonia e nuove idee la luce elettrica, sia pubblica che privata.
Lo sviluppo del progetto si basa sul coinvolgimento degli Amministratori Comunali e del Provveditorato di Asti, come patrocinatori dell’iniziativa, e della Banca Cassa di Risparmio di Asti, come Ente di supporto.
